Amyl & The Sniffers + Die Spitz – October 13th, 2023

Amyl & The Sniffers are a garage punk band from Melbourne, Australia fronted by a tiny firecracker named Amy Taylor with a piercing banshee of a voice. Brilliant, raucous and harder than a bag of rivets, they took the stage at Tioga-Sequoia Beer Garden on October 13th with support from Texas’ Die Spitz. She’s the closest I’ve ever come to having to resort to sports photography tactics to capture a singer on stage, since she’s a flailing beast on stage with enough energy to replace Hoover Dam.
