California Market Logo Design

Designed when my friends at Main St. Market (formerly Green Apple Market) wanted to rebrand, the original name was supposed supposed to be California Market and this was the logo we designed with 2 color variations. Many hurdles kept them from sticking with the name, including a long, drawn-out battle over securing the domain california-market.com when the sale was abruptly reversed by my registrar and I spent weeks pleading my case to keep it at the price I originally bought it for ($10 for the first year) and instead attempted to gouge me for hundreds of dollars (I can’t remember the exact price, but I remember being furious about it) for it claiming that the specific words in that order were considered a “premium domain”.

In the end, this logo was never used.
