The Challenge
My biggest single project I did by myself at one time, yet the challenge was surprisingly-simple: Design labels and packaging for a brewery while drinking their beer. It worked. 🍺
What I Did
My biggest single project I did on my own. The challenge was to design the labeling and packaging for House of Pendragon Brewing Co. in Sanger, CA. Several weeks were spent on the complete design of the packaging and the label designs for each size bottle. Eventually, a few proofs were produced of each item.
Once bottles, 6-pack carrier and distribution cases were printed, I collected samples of each, shot the photos using a Canon 7D with an EF 50mm 1.4 USM lens. The wide angles of the 6-packs were shot with an EF-S 17-85mm 3.5 USM IS lens. The final stage was to design the sales sheets, which brewery representatives use to take to prospective buyers.
The project took about 3 months total from start to finish.
