For those of you who only recently joined our group shutterbugs, I have taken the liberty of expanding the old camera basics post with a newly-expanded handout dealing with the basics of the camera lens; another handout detailing the use of the camera shutter will be coming soon.
This is quite a long handout topping out at 10 pages, so I’ll be dedicating an entire lab period to this and the shutter basics handout as soon as we return to class next week. For those of you who have taken photography before, you can use this as a primer to polish your skills.

Save it so you can put it in your iPads or iPods (if you’ve got them—you can do this with all the old handouts I’ve given out so far as well) or print one out in class.
