Most of you know that the button on the top right magically takes a picture when you press it; what you may not know is how that button controls the shutter. I have written the second handout pertaining to film exposure that I mentioned in Saturday’s entry. We will spend Friday’s lab time learning the details of the camera covered in both the lens handout and this shutter handout (link below), so I would recommend that those of you who are still a little unsure about how to use the lens or shutter to your advantage be there on time; we’ve got a lot of material to cover.
The handout LEARNING THE CAMERA: The Details of the Shutter is available here. Save it to your tablets if you got ’em or print one in class so you can follow along on lab day. Lab will start on Friday as soon as the final bell rings, so don’t be late!
