Haven’t been to Art Hop in a couple of months, so since I had to come drop off some info plaques for some prints that my homies Andy, Arthur and myself were exhibiting at Bitwise with the help of our boy Grizzly Neb, I figured I’d make the trip and stay a while. My friend Zayda ended up tagging along and we ended up walking just short of 9 miles hitting almost every art stop we could think of including grub from FURY Hot Chicken; just the thing 2 people walking up and down Fulton St in Fresno and are higher than the Burj Khalifa in Dubai needed. I also finally met Izel, an artist I’ve been following on Instagram for a while who makes these amazing Maya and Olmeca illustrations. I bought this colibrí pin from him and it is now on my Peak Design 13″ Messenger bag. Ended up leaving way later than we had any right to since we both had to be at work early today, but it was worth it just to catch SciFi Caper, whom I haven’t seen perform live since Spanspek in 2017!
